Social Media Report -25 points / DUE April 16
Choose a social media site and be able to share what it is, how it works and how it could be useful to your career, or to a multimedia journalist. Submit a one-page overview that includes:
Number of users
How it is used
Who owns it
How it could be useful to you in your field, major or career
Any other interesting tidbits
Bring your laptop to class and any adapters you need, so you can present your Social Media Site to the class. Look for links to Top Social Media Sites (for user figures) and Social Media Map (for options). Your choice must be approved by me, so we don’t have any overlap. Do not choose Facebook or Twitter.

Create a blog that you will be updating throughout this class. Your blog should be created by Feb. 5, after which I will grade 75 points of it. The final 25 points will be added at the end of the semester.

Copy each week’s quiz score and email to email@example.com for 10 points each week.
Give a presentation to the class about the key facts that you learned in the course for 25 points.
